Terms of Service
Last updated: July 28, 2026
These terms govern your use of Snapbuff. By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to do so.
1. What Snapbuff does
Snapbuff takes photos and video you upload and produces social media content from them, including short vertical videos, image ads, carousels, captions, and hashtags. If you connect a social account, we can publish content you have approved or scheduled.
2. Your content and your responsibility for it
You keep ownership of everything you upload and of the content Snapbuff generates from it. You are free to use that output commercially.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. By uploading, you confirm that you own the media or have permission to use it, and that you have the necessary consent to feature any person, vehicle, or property that appears in it. Do not upload material you do not have the right to use.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process, modify, and transmit your media strictly for the purpose of providing the service to you, including publishing to accounts you have connected. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
3. Music
Music we provide in the product is licensed for use in the content you generate with Snapbuff. You may not extract or redistribute those tracks on their own.
If you upload your own music, you confirm you have the right to use it commercially in your posts. You are solely responsible for any claim arising from music you supply.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the rights to
- Upload unlawful, misleading, or infringing material
- Use the service to impersonate another business or misrepresent work as your own
- Attempt to break, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service
- Resell or sublicense access to your account without our consent
- Use automated means to create accounts or evade plan limits or trial terms
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, and will tell you why where we are able to.
5. Connected social accounts
You control which accounts are connected and you may disconnect at any time. We publish only content you have approved or scheduled. Your use of each platform remains subject to that platform’s own terms, and we are not responsible for actions a platform takes against your account, including removal, restriction, or muting of a post.
6. Plans, trials, and billing
- New accounts start with a free trial. No card is required to begin
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe until cancelled
- Plans include monthly limits on videos and other assets. Limits reset each billing period and do not roll over
- You may cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not pro-rate partial months
- We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice by email. Changes never apply to a period you have already paid for
7. Availability
We work to keep Snapbuff running reliably but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your content.
8. No guarantee of results
Snapbuff produces marketing content. We make no promise about views, engagement, leads, bookings, or revenue. Results depend on your work, your market, your footage, and factors outside our control.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snapbuff is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or create legal risk. On termination your content is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada, and the courts of Quebec have jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will notify you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Snapbuff after that means you accept the updated terms.
